Same venue, same time and 50 Years To The Day: The Apple Core Beatles play the same venue (although it's known as the Gala Bingo today). The event takes place on May 18th 2013. On May 18th 1963 The Beatles' third UK tour commenced at the Adelphi Cinema in Slough (Bucks. UK) along with Roy Orbison, Gerry and the Pacemakers, David Macbeth, Louise Cordet, Tony Marsh, Terry Young Six, Erkey Grant and Ian Crawford. 

Only a few days now until our big Beatlemanina concert at the Gala Bingo in Slough. The concert takes place 50 years to the night that the fab four played at the very same venue.

The band had a great night on Friday 1st February at Ringo's Hard Days Night Pub,The Turks Head, St Margarets, London. The Apple's played to a packed and very enthusiastic crowd, to celerbrate 50 years of The Fab Four in Richmond. Please see our photo gallery for more great shots!!

On February 17, 1963, The Beatles made their first appearance at Teddington Studios in Broom Road, to perform their first UK number one - Please Please Me.

Now, 50 years later, a Hampton Beatles tribute will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the appearance on ABC Television's Thank Your Lucky Stars, the most influential TV pop programme in Britain before Top of the Pops.

They will perofrm at the Turk’s Head pub in St Margarets, made famous by The Beatles film A Hard Day’s Night.

The Beatles performed in various locations across Richmond during their career, including Twickenham Film Studios, where they recorded three films.
